Through my journey in dance, teaching, and leadership, I’ve developed a conversational, energetic approach to inspire and empower others. My Story
My story began in 1984 with Miss Trish, a dance teacher who poured her heart and soul into her students. She showed up each week, radiating joy and love, making us feel like we could achieve anything we set our minds to. One person, one teacher, set the tone for what has become my life’s journey. While the path hasn’t always been smooth, with its share of twists, turns, and challenges, my love and passion for dance and education have remained constant since 1984.
From navigating marriage and divorce to overcoming cancer, managing studios, coordinating conventions, and owning my dance studio, the impact of that one teacher has never faded. We are shaped by the experiences and moments in our lives. Every encounter influences who we are, how we respond to life’s challenges, and how we pursue our dreams.
What I’ve learned along the way is that leadership isn’t just for those “in charge.” It’s about understanding others, connecting on a human level, and working collaboratively to achieve common goals. In this session, I want to reach people where they are, spark conversations, and emphasize that leadership has no age or status limit. We all have the potential to lead, learn, and grow.
